How to make Laccha Pyaz

Onion (large,peeled) – 5 nos
Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 2 tbsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Black Salt – 1 tsp
Chaat Masala – 1½ tbsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Ice cubes – few
Chilled water – ½ lt
Green Chilli chopped – to taste
Lemon – to taste
Coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Slice the onions into roundels about ½ cm thick. Place them in a container and add ice and chilled water. Keep them in water for 15mins.
In the meantime mix together chilli powder, black salt, salt, chaat masala, coriander powder & garam masala. Mix them properly and store it in a a tight container.
Remove the onions from the water and let it sit in a sieve for few mins. Now sprinkle the dry masala on top, add chopped green chillies & chopped coriander to taste, squeeze some lemon and toss them together.
Plate the salad and serve immediately.
