Aloo Jeera (Recipe 2)

Ingredients

Ghee - 2 tbsp
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 2 tsp
Ginger chopped - 2 tsp
Green chilly chopped - 2 tsp
Onion Chopped - 1/2 cup
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Tomato Chopped - 1/2 cup
Potato (boiled & diced) - 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Dry mango Powder(amchur) - 1 tsp
Coriander chopped - 2 tbsp

Method

  • Heat ghee add hing.Stir and add jeera.
  • Once it crackles add chopped ginger and green chilly.
  • Sauce for few seconds and add chopped onions.
  • Cook the onions for 2 minutes on high heat. Add turmeric, chilly powder and stir.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook for another 3 minutes
  • Add potatoes and sprinkle salt.
  • Toss them and add dry mango powder (amchur) and chopped coriander.
  • Cook for 2 minutes, remove and serve.
