Banana Flower Salad

Purple banana flower shredded (filaments removed) - 2 1/2cup
Lemon - 2 nos
Jaggery - 100 Gms
Toasted sesame -1 tbl spn
Toasted peanuts - 1/2 cup
Green chilly chopped - 1tbl spn
Mint leaves - 1 cup
oil - 2 tbl spn
Salt - 1/4th of a tsp


  • Thinly slice the banana flower and keep aside in a bowl. Separately in another bowl put jaggery, lemon juice and oil. Mix in all
  • Now sprinkle toasted sesame, peanuts chopped green chilly, mint leaves and salt on the banana flower.
  • Pour over the dressing and mix well. Serve immediately.
