Choco Lava Cake

Dark chocolate - 120gms
Butter - 110gms
Eggs - 2nos
Egg Yolks - 2nos
Sugar - 1/4 cup
Refined Flour - 1 tbsp
Icing sugar - sprinkle
Mint sprig - Garnish
Cherry - Garnish


  • Melt butter & chopped chocolate together on a double boiler.
  • Whisk them together till very fluffy. Once very fluffy pour the chocolate mix in the eggs slowly while continuously whisking on medium speed. Remove the whisk and added 1 tbsp of flour. Whisk it again.
  • In the meanwhile baste the ramekins with butter and dust with flour. Pour the mixture in the remakins and bake in preheated oven 230c for 7-8 mins.
  • Remove and let them cook for 2 mins. Can serve garnished with cherry, mint sprig and dusted icing sugar. The other option is to carefully demould it. Dust with icing sugar and garnish with cherry & mint sprig. Serve immediately for lava to flow out.
