Eggless Butter Cookies - Plain

Sugar - 150 gms/1 cup


  • In a bowl add soft butter and whisk it to make it creamy and lighter. Add sugar and whisk again. Remove the whisk and add vanilla extract and then add flour. Using a spatula mix the dough till it all comes together. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts. Keep part as is. in the 2nd part add choice chips and mix and in the 3rd part add fennel seeds and mix. Now divide all the parts into small balls and roll them to the size of a ping pong ball. Line a baking tray with butter paper. Before placing the cookie on to the tray lightly flatten them between your palms. Bake the cookies in a pre heated oven at 180c for 10mins or till they start to brown a little. Remove and cool it completely before serving.
