Murg Ke Parchae

Chicken breast sliced - 6 slices (40 gms each slice)
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste - 1 tbl spn
Garlic paste - 1 tbl spn
Lemon - 1 no
Hung yogurt - 1/4th cup
Roasted channa dal powder - 2 tsp
Kasoori methi powder -1 tsp
Turmeric -1 tsp
Green chilly chopped - 1 tbl spn
Red chili powder -1 tsp
Kewra - few drops
oil - 3 tbl spn
Rose water - few drops
Roasted Cashewnut paste -2 tbl spn


  • Marinate the chicken breast with half the salt, ginger, garlic and lemon juice. Keep aside.
  • In another bowl pour in half of oil. Add turmeric, red chilly powder and mix well. Now add yogurt, channa dal powder, kasoori methi powder. Chopped green chilly Cashewnut paste, salt, kewra and rose water. Mix well.
  • Apply the marinade to the chicken. Heat a pan or grill to medium heat. Heat oil and place the chicken breast. Cook n both sides till brown. Serve hot.
