This cold soup is refreshing, easy and uses no gas or ovens. You can serve this to your friends or cook it for your family after they come back from a hectic day or an exercise schedule.

  • Avocado (ripe) – 8 nos
  • Garlic clove – 2 nos
  • Madras curry powder – 2 tsp
  • Ice cubes – 6 nos
  • Salt – to taste
  • Cucumber – 1 no
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbl spn
  • Mint leaves – 1/4th cup
  • Cream – 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper crushed – 1/2 tsp


  1. Run a sharp knife from the top of the avocado in a circular motion. Slightly twist the avocado and separate the halves. Remove the seed and discard it. Peel off the hard skin and cut the avocado into very small dices.
  2. In a food processor puree the avocados, cucumber, garlic, lemon, madras curry powder, and mint leaves. Add a few ice cubes to retain the color of the avocados.
  3. Pour out in a bowl and add in the cream, salt, and pepper. Serve chilled.
