Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
For Potato Fries
4 nos Potato Large
½ cup Corn starch
to taste Salt
for frying Oil
For slurry
1 tbsp Corn starch
a dash Water
In the Pan
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Ginger chopped
1 tsp Garlic chopped
3 tbsp Onion chopped
3 tbsp Capsicum chopped
1 cup Tomato ketchup
1 tbsp Chilli sauce
1 tbsp Soya sauce
1 tbsp Honey
1tbsp Sesame seeds

    This Desi Chinese recipe (Honey Chilli Potato) combines tasty french fries with a hot garlic sauce on top. The sauce is sweet, spicy, sour and subtle soya sauce works wonderful with crunchy fries.

    Crispy fried potato fingers tossed in a honey chilli sauce. Simply irresistible and delicious party starter too

    Peel and cut the potato into fries. Blanch them in water.

    Remove pat dry and apply corn starch with salt and pepper. Deep fry till crisp. Remove and keep aside.

    In a pan heat oil add dry red chilly, ginger, garlic and onions. Sauce and add capsicum and toss. Add ketchup, chilly sauce, soya sauce, salt, and honey.

    Toss again.add water and bring to boil. Now add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce. Place the potato in a bowl and drop the sauce on top of it. Garnish with sesame seeds add spring onions. Serve hot.
