Blanching is a process of cooking where food is immersed in hot water briefly; then immersed in chilled water. Blanching a tomato helps in removing the skin of the #Tomato. The same can be sone for almonds, peaches etc.
Add water in a deep pan till the top and bring it to a boil. Put a criss cross slit on the bottom of the tomato. In boiling water add the tomatoes and let them be there for 30 seconds and remove them and immediately add them to iced water. After a minute peel of the skin from where we had given the slits. We have the blanched tomatoes ready.
