    Ingredients

    • Lauki – 1 small
    • Bayleaf – 1 no
    • Cumin – 1 tsp
    • Cinnamon – 1 small piece
    • Ginger chopped – 1/2 tbsp
    • Channa dal (soaked) – 1 cup
    • Big cardamom – 1no
    • Peppercorn – 4 nos
    • Dry red chilly – 1 no Onion – 1/4th no
    • Garlic chopped – 1/2 tbsp

    Peel and remove seeds, cut lauki into chunks and add it to a pan along with soaked channa dal, big cardamom, onion, garlic, ginger, cumin peppercorn, cinnamon, bayleaf, dry red chilly. Salt, turmeric. Add just enough water to cook the dal and the water evaporates.

    Remove from heat and cool it completely. Remove the bay leaf and grind the rest in a blender. Remove to a bowl and add salt, chopped coriander, mint leaves, chaat masala, garam masala, coriander powder, bread crumbs and mix it well.

    Shape into small balls to the size of a golf ball. Flatten them and cook on a hot pan with ghee on both sides. Serve hot.
