Dodi | Punjabi Kada Doodh

Prep time – 10mins

Cooking time – 20mins

Serves – 4-6

Ingredients 

Khus Khus (soaked) – ¼ cup

Cashewnuts (soaked) – ¼ cup

Almonds (soaked) – ¼ cup

Melon seeds (soaked) – 2tbsp

Water or Milk – a dash 

Ghee – 3tbsp

Milk – ½ lt

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp

Sugar – to taste

Done

Strain the soaked khus khus into the mixer, add the soaked cashews, almonds and melon seeds.
Add a dash of milk or water to make the mixture smoother.

Heat some ghee in a pan and roast the blended seed mixture in it till the seed mixture looks light golden brownish.
Once done - you can either make the entire mawa into dodi or reserve some of it for making dodi later.

Add milk to the pan with the dodi and sprinkle some cardamom powder and sugar to taste, allow it to dissolve and you’re ready serve!
