Guava Masala Mojito 

Ingredients

Guava, over ripe (अमरूद) – 2 nos, large

Sugar (चीनी) – 1½ tbsp

Black salt (कला नमक) – ½ tsp 

Roasted cumin powder (भुना जीरा) – ½ tsp

Pepper powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर) – ½ tsp 

Salt (नमक) – a pinch 

Lemon juice (नींबू रस) – 3 tbsp

Mint leaves (पुदीना) – handful

Iced water (बर्फ का पानी) – ¼ cup 

Ice cubes (बर्फ) – few

Soda water, chilled (सोडा पानी) – to top up 

 

For garnish 

Guava wedge

Mint leaves

Paper straw

To prepare Guava Masala Mojito, chop two large overripe guavas. Blend the guava chunks along with sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, pepper powder, a pinch of salt, lemon juice, mint leaves, and iced water until smooth.

Strain the mixture to remove any pulp or seeds. Pour the guava mixture into glasses filled with ice cubes. Top up each glass with chilled soda water. Garnish the mojitos with a guava wedge, fresh mint leaves, and a paper straw. Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing and tangy drink!
