How to Cook Channa Dal Parantha

Ingredients

  • Atta –  2 cups
  • Salt – a generous pinch
  • Channa dal boiled – 1 cup
  • Onion chopped – 3 tbsp
  • Green chilly chopped – 2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1 tsp
  • Ginger chopped – 2 tsp
  • Coriander chopped – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  • Chilly powder – 3/4 tsp
  • Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Ghee – as required

Method

Take some flour in a bowl and add salt and water and make a dough. Take some boiled channa dal in a bowl, add chopped onion, ginger, green chilli, coriander, tumeric, chilli powder, jeera and salt.

Mix properly. Make some balls from the dough and spread it out. Add some stuffing into the dough and roll it out. Cook it onto a hot tava. Add some designee to the tava and turn it over.

Cook till brown and parantha is ready.
