Best Badam Milk With Peda Recipe

The twist in this recipe is that the recipe is totally vegan instead of dairy milk we are going to use Almond Milk.

(for immunity) Vegan Recipe

Ingredients

Almonds – 1cup

Water – 3cups

Sugar/Gur – 2tbsp

Turmeric – a pinch

Nutmeg (Jaiphal) – a pinch

Saffron – a pinch (dissolved in 2tbsp water)

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp

Rose water – ½ tbsp

Kewra water – ½ tbsp

Subza or Chia Seeds (soaked) – 1tbsp

 

Extra Shots – Make Badam Peda with leftover Almond meal.

Leftover almond Paste – ½ cup

Sugar (fine grain) – 2tbsp

Cardamom powder – a pinch

Saffron water – 1tbsp

Soak badam overnight. Now boil them for 15mins. Strain and let them cool. Remove the skin and place the peeled almonds in a blender. Add 4 cups water and blend it. Now strain it using a muslin cloth. Almond milk is ready.

Heat this milk and add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and remove it.

You can serve it hot or chilled as per the weather.

You can replace almond with cashews or even oats.
This is an excellent recipe for immunity building as well as for vegans or people allergic to dairy.
The shelf life of almond milk is 2-3 days in fridge.
You can make the milk and keep it in deep freezer for a month.

Mix together everything and divide into small balls. Roll them up and serve.
