Khao Suey is a Burmese dish made with noodles & curry mixed together. You can add tons of accomplishments from chili paste to fried garlic and so much more. My version is a comforting meal and you can make it vegetarian or can add meat.

Ingredients

For Curry/Soup

  • Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Green chilly chopped – 1no
  • Bayleaf – 1 no
  • Ginger chopped – 2 tsp
  • Cumin – 1 tsp
  • Garlic chopped – 2 tsp
  • Black pepper – f5-6nos
  • Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  • Onions chopped – 1/4 cup
  • Madras curry powder – 2 tbsp
  • Chilli flakes – 1 tsp
  • Spring onion choppe d- 1 tbsp
  • Fried onions – 1 tbsp
  • Besan – 1 tbsp
  • Curd – 3 tbsp
  • Carrots diced – 1/4 cup
  • Broccoli florets – 1/4 cup
  • Mushrooms – 1/4 cup
  • Salt – to taste
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Coconut milk thick – 2 cups
  • Egg noodles (boiled) – 1 cup
  • Roasted peanuts – 2 tbsp
  • Fried garlic flakes – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander sprigs – for garnish

Accompaniments

  • Boiled egg
  • Lemon
  • Chicken boiled (optional)
  • Chilly paste
