Ingredients

3tbsp Oil
1no Bayleaf
1no Cinnamon (1inch)
6no Cardamom
1tbsp Cumin
1cup Onion sliced
a dash Water
2tsp Ginger garlic paste
1tsp Turmeric
1tsp Red Chilli Powder
1cup Curd
3nos Green chillies
handful Mint leaves
a dash Kewra water
1cup Beans (Diced)
1cup Green Peas
1cup Cauliflower chopped
1tsp Kasoori methi powder
2cups Water
to taste Salt
2cups Basmati rice (soaked)
2cups Water
handful Mint leaves

Heat oil add bayleaf, cinnamon, cardamom and cumin. Stir and add onions. cook the onions till they brown evenly.
Add a dash of water followed by ginger garlic paste and powdered spices. stir for a min and add whisked curd.

Keep stirring on high heat till the curd comes to a boil. Add green chillies, kewra and the veggies. Cook the veggies for 5mins.Sprinkle kasoori methi powder and add some water along with salt.

Bring to a boil and add soaked and drained rice. give a light stir, add mint leaves, lower the heat and cover and cook.
Once all the water is absorbed turn off the heat. Give ti a 10min rest and then fluff up the rice with a fork and serve hot.
