Masala Onion Rings 

 

For Onion Rings

Onion, large (प्याज़) – 5 nos

 

For Batter

Besan (बेसन) – 1 cup

Salt (नमक) – To Taste

Chaat Masala (चाट मसाला) – ½ tbsp

Turmeric Powder (हल्दी) – ½ tsp

Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर) – 2 tsp

Cumin Powder (जीरा पाउडर) – 1 tsp 

Kasoori Methi (कसूरी मेथी) – ½ tsp

Coriander, Chopped (धनिया) – a handful

Water (पानी) – ¾ cup approx 

Bread Crumbs, panko (ब्रेडक्रम्ब्स) – 2cups

Oil (तेल) – to fry

For Masala Onion Rings, slice large onions into rings. Prepare the batter by mixing besan, salt, chaat masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, kasoori methi, chopped coriander, and water. The consistency should coat the onion rings.

Dip each onion ring in the batter and coat with panko breadcrumbs. Deep fry the coated onion rings until golden brown. Serve these crispy Masala Onion Rings with your favorite dip. Enjoy!
